1. Fantastic Mr Fox, directed by Wes Anderson After 12 years of bucolic bliss, Mr. Fox breaks a promise to his wife and raids the farms of their human neighbors, Boggis, Bunce, and Bean. Giving in to his animal instincts endangers not only his marriage but also the lives of his family and their animal friends. When the farmers force Mr. Fox and company deep underground, he has to resort to his natural craftiness to rise above the opposition. My rating: 8/10. The animation is beautiful, and I love all the little details. Another thing I really like is the symbolism in this movie. All though its a movie made for children, I could see how little kids could get freaked out by this sort of movie, depending on the child. However I personally LOVED this movie. It felt so cozy and comfortable, and I love how they focused on the themes of community and family. My favourite character by far was Ash Fox, Fantastic Mr Fox's son. I think he was a very relatable and realistic character.
